Birthday

The 7-8th graders toured New Ulm High School this afternoon, so I had an hour of extra time. My class started pinatas. We did our newspaper layers on balloons in the gym since it's a little windy today. Then Miss H watched inside recess and I watched outside recess. 

I turned 32 today! It was a nice, low-key day where people made a little fuss, but not too much. Mr. and Mrs. E left flowers on my desk. Pastor and Mrs. B left chocolate chip cookies in my mailbox. Kids said happy birthday in the hall. One 8th grader (whose birthday was yesterday) brought me a piece of mint ice cream oreo dessert (delicious). Mom and Dad took me out for supper last night. And G has a mystery adventure planned for after school!
