The 8th graders finally finished their biomimicry projects... about a month ago they were tasked with designing and building a model of a structure that mimics some type of animal's habitat/home that could be used for a human purpose. Here are the final results:
"Weaver-Bird Playground" (African Weaver Bird habitat)
"Cactus Hotel" (pygmy owl habitat)
"Beaver Lodge" (beaver habitat)
Pretty creative, don't you think???
